Winter Qigong: 4-Week Series

Qigong is a Chinese healing art that uses breath, gentle movement, visualization, and focused intention to circulate qi (life force) and revitalize the body. This style of qigong features continuous flowing movements, tapping to awaken the meridian lines, and meditative imagery to mirror the natural rhythms of the world around us.

In Winter, the most “yin” season, Traditional Chinese Medicine associates this practice with nourishing the kidneys and urinary bladder, the water element, and the deep stillness at the end of the seasonal cycle. Winter Qigong supports turning inward, conserving vitality, and cultivating warmth and nourishment throughout the energetic body.
